Wolf Mail (USA)

Wolf Mail measures among the top of a new generation of blues guitarists. Born in Montreal, Canada, raised in the South of France and California, Wolf Mail grew up as a traveling nomad and picked up the guitar at the age of 10. He did his first gig at 14 and ran away from home at 17 to tour with his own band.

Since turning down offers from Ozzy Osbourne and Billy Idol at the age of 19, Wolf Mail has been playing his distinct style all around the world and gets particular joy from playing the Blues in places that do not get a lot of opportunities to hear that type of music.

Wolf Mail’s music style is a blend of traditional Blues, citing influences such as Albert Collins and Roy Buchanan to classic soul artists like Curtis Mayfield and Otis Redding, to rock & blues legend Johnny Winter. Wolf has created a very clean, powerful and yet intense guitar style and as for his voice, it is very distinctive and particularly suited to the blues.

Wolf Mail now averages hundreds of his legendary live shows per year touring the U.S, Canada, Europe, Australia, Japan and Russia.
