Christian Power & Lonesome Train

Having launched their latest album 'Cool Hand' at the Tamworth Country Music Festival, stand by as they bring their ultimate blend of Aussie rock, blues, country, honky tonk and rockabilly tunes to the South Coast.

Starting out in Sydney 80s alternative rock band, Clayton Jonestown (featuring ex members of Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds), he went on to join the Whippersnappers, Tsunami & The Swordsmen during the 90s. Christian has worked as a sideman on many tours and recordings and most recently, was stadium guitarist for John Williamson's 'The Story of True Blue' spectacular.

Hooking up with Rock 'n Roll "Hall of Famer", Doug DeKroo, and forming "Lonesome Train" over 7 years ago, to focus on his love of early 50s rockabilly music, this Power-packed, all singing, all rocking trio, consisting of driving stand up drums (Rob Laurie), slapping double bass (Doug DeKroo), along with Christian, have become festival favourites all around the country...their live shows are a "must see event".
